Day 01: Drive from Addis Ababa to Arba Minch. En-route visit Tiya (World Heritage Site by UNESCO). This site is famous for its ancient monolithic stele which is engraved with some fascinating symbols. Overnight: Hotel
Day 02: In the morning, drive to the highland people of the Dorze to visit their excellent beehive shaped bamboo houses, fertile grounds of false banana and colorful waving products. Then, in the afternoon, you will have boat trip on Lake Chamo to visit some herds of hippo, aquatic birdlife, and huge sunbathing crocodiles on its shore. Overnight: Hotel
Day 03: Drive down to Jinka over the terraced hills of the Konso en-route, at Key Afar, you visit the Banna , Tsemay and the Ari cattle herds . Overnight: hotel
Day 04: Excursion to three different villages of the fascinating Mursi people whose women adore wearing geometrical lip plates in the slits of their lower lips. This drive leads to the heart of Mago National Park. In the afternoon, visit the Ari villages, which have neat compounds and fertile surroundings. Overnight: hotel
Day 05: Drive via the land of Welayta and Oromo people across the rift valley to Awassa Overnight: hotel
Day 06:In the morning, visit the fish market at lake shore of Awassa and drive back to Addis Ababa which includes the Ethnological Museum in the former palace of King Hailesillassie, the National (Archaeological) Museum where, among other archaeological findings the oldest hominid fossil (Lucy) is exhibited; the superb Holy Trinity cathedral, the various historical monuments of Addis Ababa. In the evening, you will transfer to bole international air port for departure flight.
